Hailing from Russia and based in Wiesbaden, DJ ÜBERKIKZ blends archaic tribal rhythms with powerful techno beats and folk melodies in her sets. Drawing inspiration from the hard-groove techno of the late ’90s and early ’00s, she crafts a mesmerising sonic odyssey that beckons the audience to embrace their instincts and origins. Her impulsive yet reflective music leaves thoughts behind and evokes a primal connection to our shared humanity. ÜBERKIKZ views music as a universal language that transcends the barriers of nationality, culture, gender, and sexuality.
She is much more than just a sound artist; she publicly takes a stand against sexism, discrimination, and racism. She actively supports FLINTA* artists and fights for a more inclusive electronic scene. Her style is not imitation, but a dramatically sensitive fusion of groove, aesthetics and attitude – music as a breathing ritual and an invitation to collective liberation.
Überkikz has made a name for herself on both the Berlin club scene and international stages. She has performed at renowned festivals such as Terminal V in Edinburgh and DGTL in Amsterdam. She is also set to perform at the Waves Open Air Festival and has previously played at the Aerotechno Festival, Rotterdam Rave Spring Special, Pollerwiesen in Cologne, Brunch Electronik, Ikarus Festival, Teletech, Unreal, Verknipt and Echelon Festival.
She regularly performs at major venues such as the RSO. , Fusion Club in Münster, Bootshaus in Cologne, Südpol in Hamburg, Hafen 49, and the Gotec Club in Karlsruhe. Her live sets are particularly impressive. Recordings of her performances at Amp Münster and RSO Berlin capture her powerful groove and hypnotic energy. She shared these decks with Fumi.
