Born in Rio de Janeiro, The Lady Machine began her musical journey in the underground techno scene of São Paulo. For two decades, she honed her craft with vinyl, achieving an impeccable level of mixing precision that blends classic Detroit riffs with futuristic structures. Upon arriving in Berlin, she used this skillset to create her own powerful sound cosmos: dark and rich in texture, with a focus on the dance floor.

As a Brazilian artist, she has not only established herself in a male-dominated scene, she has also set new standards. Her residency at Pornceptual, a queer, inclusive party series in Berlin, embodies artistic attitude and empowerment without pathos, but with a strong presence.

She has performed at Tresor, Berghain, Fabric, the Boiler Room platform and the Awakenings Festival, leaving an electrifying signature everywhere she goes.

She is now finally releasing her own music: the Magnify EP on Mote-Evolver in December 2021 – a dark, mechanical four-on-the-floor dance track comprising ‘Magnify’, ‘Concentrate’, ‘Amplify’ and ‘Collide’. KEY Vinyl recently released ‘Kudos’ in August 2021 – a tough track influenced by old-school sounds. Together with Decka, she runs the label Unterwegs, a platform for uncompromising sound-focused techno projects.
