With a unique blend of 90s nostalgia and modern sounds, she inspires audiences worldwide - from Tresor Berlin to E1 London. She draws her creative energy from a modular setup, which she uses to create electrifying live performances. As a resident artist on We Are Not Alone and Seelen. Records, she has left her mark on the German techno scene. Her EPs have been released on prestigious labels such as Primus and Whirlwindtraxx. She is also socially committed, producing tracks for feminist and humanitarian projects. Her own label SURD is considered a pioneering queer movement in the Ruhr region. Her interdisciplinary label project combines music and activism - for Shaleen, techno is more than just sound: it is a spiritual journey to the roots of culture.
