Séarlait’s roots lie in the vibrant underground scene of the United Kingdom. In 2019, she relocated to Melbourne (Naarm), where she has since become a prominent figure in the club and radio scenes. Her sets oscillate between house, breaks, electro, techno, dub and minimal, always incorporating an element of surprise that remains danceable yet thought-provoking.
As a regular voice on Bloop London and a regular guest mixer on Rinse FM and The Lot Radio, Séarlait uses the medium of radio to experiment across genres and tell sound stories that resonate far beyond the dance floor.
Through the 1800 Play project, Séarlait has established a creative hub comprising a mix format, an event series, and a platform for artists such as Huerta, NIKS, and Jeku. This space fosters exchange, visibility, and empowerment. This platform symbolises her artistic independence — a collective that celebrates and lives diversity.
