Sara Landry is far more than just a DJ - she stands for a movement. With her determined manner, her own style and her strong feminist stance, she has made a name for herself worldwide. Originally from Austin, Texas, she now lives in Amsterdam. There she combines a do-it-yourself mentality with ritualistic sound art and an impressive stage presence. Her journey began in the clubs of Austin. Self-taught, she taught herself how to produce and mix. With her first single “Chasm” (2018) and the EP “Wait” (2019), both released on the Mau5trap label, she laid the foundation for her unique sound. Her style is dark, powerful and infused with feminine energy. It not only sounds special, but also feels intense - like a ritual full of force and rebellion. The big breakthrough came in 2023. Her set at the Boiler Room was viewed over six million times and was one of the most watched of the year. A year later, she made history when she became the first hard techno artist to perform on the main stage at Tomorrowland. Other highlights included appearances at EDC Las Vegas, Coachella, Tomorrowland, Creamfields and the Kappa Futur Festival. Her shows in Bogotá and in the Caverns of Tennessee - as the first techno act ever - also caused a sensation. In 2021, she founded her own label, Hekate Records. The name is derived from the Greek goddess of magic. The label stands for creative freedom and female strength. It is a home for acts such as Nico Moreno, Shlømo and Charlie Sparks. Hekate embodies the wild and untamed and provides a stage for artists who break new ground.
