Since her international breakthrough in 2007, Nusha has developed her highly distinctive sound, combining acid techno beats, hard kicks and hypnotic melodies. Songs such as ‘Chaos’, ‘Addiction’ and ‘Serenity’ feature her voice, further reinforcing her artistic brand. By founding her own label, KOMBUSTIVE, she is setting new standards. The very first track, KBT001 – ‘Believe’ – is a raw musical spark.
With her clear style and strong stage presence, Nusha is raising the profile of women in the techno genre, without pathos but with power. She is on par with male techno greats such as Dubfire, Solomun, Monika Kruse, James Zabiela and Green Velvet. In a male-dominated field, she establishes her own language and demonstrates resilience and attitude, inspiring the next generation of female artists.
Her energy has taken her to stages across Europe and beyond. Early performances alongside renowned artists led to her gracing the stages of Balaton Sound, Untold Festival, Caprices, Neversea, Parookaville and One Day Music. In Germany, for example, she played at the 2024 Airbeat One Festival, as well as at clubs such as Egg London, where she held a residency called ‘Nusha Invites’. She has toured five continents in no time at all.
Nusha’s creative output can be found on a colourful mix of labels: Autektone, FeChrome, Orange Records, Armada Music, Filth on Acid, and her own Kombustive. Tracks such as ‘Chaos’, ‘Addiction’, ‘Serenity’ and ‘Cip Cirip’ thrill listeners with their deep beats – the latter remaining in the Beatport Top 20 for weeks. Collaborations with Belocca, such as ‘Addiction’ and ‘Serenity’, demonstrate her range.
