Milena Głowacka is a Polish DJ, producer and live artist specialising in vinyl. Her sets oscillate between psychedelic depth and raw, hard techno. She has developed a highly distinctive sound since her first experiments with DAW at the age of 13. She has performed on iconic stages such as Tresor Berlin, About Blank, Hör Berlin and FOLD. Her vinyl-only sets and releases on labels such as Semantica, Delirio and About Blank, as well as her involvement in the scene, establish her as a key figure in the promotion of female empowerment within the underground techno community.
Milena’s musical journey began in her teens. At around 13 years old, she experimented with a DAW for the first time, recorded radio streams on cassette and immersed herself in the world of electronic sounds. Inspired by hypnotic textures and droning atmospheres, she developed a feel for psychedelic techno long before she started DJing. She consistently plays her sets on vinyl, and they are characterised by improvisational freedom, tight mixing, and a connection between dreamlike depth and driving rhythms.
As a female artist in the underground techno scene, Milena exudes strength and confidence. Her love of vinyl and old-school DJing is not just nostalgia, but a statement: she has mastered the art of the physical medium while incorporating modern sound design. Through live performances, vinyl-only sets and her work as a producer, she embodies artistic independence, rejecting stereotypical expectations.
She has performed on internationally renowned stages such as Tresor Berlin, where she played a four-hour vinyl-only set, and London’s FOLD. At events such as ‘ŻUBROFFKA goes TECHNO’, she embodies the connection between underground techno culture and bold female self-determination.
In December 2018, she released her debut EP, Immensity, on the Delirio label. Since then, she has collaborated with Semantica Records and released vinyl records on About Blank, Inner Tension and Monday Off Records. Her productions are characterised by deep, atmospheric soundscapes that create a hypnotic tension and invite listeners to dream.
