Originally from Ukraine, Mila Rubio is now based in Miami. She is a producer and DJ who works primarily in the melodic techno and progressive house genres. Her best-known releases include the 2022 single ‘You Bring Me’, which was released on XTR Records and received both a radio and a club version.
Another notable release is Space Train (2024) on the Family Piknik Music label. This diverse track features the original mix, as well as remixes by artists such as Justin Cholewski, who incorporates Afro house influences; Duvas, who favours darker melodic techno; and Max Delta, whose remix features more minimalistic tones. Her DJ mixes in Ukraine (e.g. Dnipro) demonstrate that she is not only active in the studio, but also performs live.
The transitions are carefully crafted to create atmosphere. Stylistically, her music thrives on playing with melody, rhythm and space. She incorporates catchy leads or vocals, blending them with deep beats and building tension, while maintaining an electronic and club-ready sound without compromising on emotional depth.
