Lovefoxy is a Berlin-based house DJ who deliberately sets herself apart from the capital’s hard techno scene. Her sound is based on the warm, inviting grooves of the early house era and is infused with black and queer energy. Growing up in Kreuzberg, she experienced gentrification and the transformation of the club scene – experiences that have shaped her attitude. As a classically trained dancer, singer and MC, she brings an extraordinary stage presence to her performances. Lovefoxy doesn’t just play, she performs – dancing, sometimes on the speakers, often in the middle of the audience, always in high heels. Her style combines genre diversity, humour and the aura of a diva with the power of a drag queen.
In a short time, she conquered stages such as Berghain, Boiler Room, DGTL and ADE, sharing decks with acts such as Honey Dijon, Eliza Rose and Solomun. Her debut EP Burning Down The Sluthouse on Nervous Records manifests her unmistakable sound. Her mission: ‘To bring joy back to Berlin’ and create spaces for diversity, female empowerment and self-determination.
