Deborah De Luca, born in 1980 in the Scampia district of Naples, worked her way up from her job as a waitress and dancer in clubs to the music scene. After a brief stint in the fashion world in the north of Italy, she quickly realized that her passion lay elsewhere – in electronic music. Back in Naples, she met DJ Giuseppe Cennamo, who introduced her to new music genres. In 2013, she founded her own label *Sola_mente Records* and worked with well-known artists such as DJ Simi and Giorgio Rusconi.
Her tracks have gained international recognition from the likes of Magda and DJ Ralf. Today, she tours the world as a DJ – from Europe to Asia and America – and impresses with her independent mix of techno and minimal, always powerful, never arbitrary. Her music stands for character, passion and creative independence.
She has performed at major venues such as Club Space in Miami, The Concourse Project, Ushuaïa Ibiza, Hafen 49 and European classics such as Fabric in London. She has a strong presence in Ibiza, having performed several times at both Amnesia and Privilege. In Italy, for example, she has played at Cocoricò in Riccione, and in Germany she has performed at Docks in Hamburg.
She also regularly performs at major festivals and events, including Time Warp, the renowned Awakenings Festival, Ikarus Festival, Echelon Festival, Sonus and the Zurich Street Parade.
