BIIA is a Portuguese artist who tells stories with her energetic, thought-provoking, abstract techno sets. Her music moves between powerful beats and soulful arcs of tension – always characterized by a versatile taste in music and her charismatic charisma.
She discovered her passion for electronic music at the age of 14 through her cousin’s DJ store. Since then, she has used sound as a form of expression – to share emotions, create connections and take the dancefloor on an intense journey.
Influenced by sounds from London, Berlin and Detroit, she creates her sets like a musical rollercoaster ride: surprising, powerful and profound. BIIA manages to combine moments of ecstasy with an emotional depth that touches.
With her eclectic style and authentic energy, she consistently develops her own electronic signature – conquering the dancefloors of the world step by step.
BIIA has enjoyed an impressive live career in recent years, performing at club nights in Switzerland and at major festivals and events in European cities. She has played at Boiler Room (Teletech Festival 2024) and is set to perform at WECANDANCE in Belgium and ADE in the Netherlands, EXIT Festival, Blackworks, EDC in Las Vegas and Verknipt, as well as at various other international events. She has also successfully performed her energetic, genre-spanning repertoire of sets at the trendy Uebel & Gefährlich club in Hamburg, Fabrik in Madrid, Hï Ibiza and the Audiodrome Club in Turin.
